EVE /the forbidden fruit

The story behind this piece is based on the bible story about Eve in the Garden of Eden. Eve here is picking the forbidden fruit. We all know that as punishment for her disobedience, God banished them from paradise. I have always used bible stories in my work but see them as fairytales with great characters. The Eve figure has a long history in the history of art and a subject I return to quite often. I see her as wild, daring and someone not afraid of bending the rules.
